It has almost no cholesterol and provides the body with the required energy. It is rich in minerals such as iron, copper, manganese and magnesium. Potassium and sodium are important electrolytes that are found in the herb.

2.Saffron does not have any diet for high blood pressure side effect on pregnant women, but it is also highly beneficial.

3.In pregnant women it relieves pain and stomachache because of its anti-spasmodic effect and in breast feeding women it increases the milk production.

4.Saffron also works as an appetite enhancer which might prove beneficial in some women.

7.Most women choose to drink saffron milk before going to bed because of its relaxing effect. A pinch of saffron is usually enough for a glass of milk. Preparation is very easy because all you need to do is to warm the milk and add the saffron and some sugar. Mix the ingredients together and consume while it's still warm.
